We love Easter and we love books in our house. So finding the best Christian Easter books for kids is fairly high priority for us.
Finding the right Easter books can help you to teach your kids about the true meaning of Easter without get stuck on the harder parts. (The first time I tried to explain Easter to my kids…when they were about 3 years old…was terrifying. How do I explain death? And how do I explain why Jesus’ death was important to these tiny little humans?)

Books are a wonderful tool for teaching kids about the true meaning of Easter, and telling the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection in an engaging and relatable way. Gospel-focused Easter books also help to keep the focus on Jesus, so that the point doesn’t get lost among all the chocolate and bunnies.

Introduce the Easter story to the littlest kids with these great Christ-centered Easter books.

Berenstain Bears and the Real Easter Eggs – During an Easter egg hunt, the Bear cubs discover a mama bird’s nest with eggs about to hatch. The cubs learn about how Easter is about new life. (This is a great book for religious and non-religious kids, since the message isn’t explicitly religious. Makes a great supplement to the story of Jesus.)

Help to strengthen the faith of your big kids with these faith based books that look at the historical reliability and the theological significance of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
