This printable angel craft is a great activity for the classroom, Sunday School, at church, or at home. I used this craft with kindergarten and with older kids to teach about angels in the Bible, and at Christmas as we are thinking about Christmas angels. Each of the children got to make their own stand up paper angel.
These paper angel crafts are great for kids of all ages. Use the simple and cute stand up paper angels for kindergarten, and the more sophisticated angels for older kids. You can have the kids color their paper angels, or add other mixed media elements like paint, glitter, feathers, etc.
This printable angel craft is great to pair with lessons and storybooks about angels.
We used this angel craft to help teach about angels in the Bible around the time of Michaelmas (when some churches the follow the liturgical calendar remember St. Michael and all angels). This is also a perfect craft to do around Christmas time when teaching about the birth of Jesus. Throughout Jesus’ life, in fact, angels were present: to announce his birth, to help him during his 40 day temptation in the desert, and at the empty tomb upon Jesus’ resurrection.

Rebecca, what a fun project to do with children. I love how you share that we can talk about/study angels at times of the year other than Christmas, since we do see them throughout the Bible.
Thanks Jeanne! Yes, this is my first time talking about angels with the kids other than Christmas and Easter. They are indeed everywhere in Scripture! I’ve found exploring this topic of angels in everyday life to be so fruitful.
